Backagården - a soldiers cottage

Welcome to the beautiful Swedish nature! In our cottage you are enclosed by a mix of forests, fields and meadows. Less than a half kilometre away you find Lake Västra Lägern where you can take a swim or go out fishing. At our place you can listen to the quietness and enjoy the loneliness, but beware, you might be looked upon by a cow or two...

Do you want to spend a summer week close to nature? Welcome to our old cottage, once a habitation for soldiers and their families. The cottage is built in the 18th century and is small and simple but very cosy.

In the house there is a small kitchen, a living room with a sofa bed for two and, upstairs, a bedroom with two beds. Extra mattress and a chair for small children are available for free. The kitchen has electrical stove, microwave, wood stove, refridgerator and freezer and, of course, everything you might need to prepare nice dinners. In the living room there is a cosy sofa corner, a dining area and a fireplace if the weather is cold and rainy. Wood is included in the rent. Drinking water is found outside the house, in a tap.
