Cottage facts

Amount of beds: Two beds + a sofa bed for two persons. Extra mattress can be borrowed.

Kitchen facilities: Electrical stove, microwave, wood stove, refridgerator, freezer, larder and everything you need to prepare food and eat it.

Water: Potable water is taken from a tap in the garden. Only cold water. There is no water in the house.

Bathroom: Dry toilet

Shower: There is a outdoor shower behind some large bushes. The water is heated by sun.

Washing facilities: If you need a washing machine you can borrow one for 30 sek/wash.

Garden: The garden is big with apple trees, currant bushes and a flower bed with some spices. There is also an old barn and a barbecue. We offer an electrical lighter for the barbecue and all you need to bring is food and charcoal.

Food store: About ten kilometres away you find a quite well-assorted country shop. Larger food stores are found 20-30 kilometres away (in Österbymo, Eskjö and Tranås).

Fishing and swimming: With a fishing license (which you buy on internet) you can go fishing at Lake Västra Lägern. The lake is pretty close, around 400 metres away as the crow flies. If you walk, nearest way is around 1 km. A shallow beach, great for children, is found about 5 km away.

Rowing boat: You can rent a rowing boat including life wests for 150 sek/day. We have life wests in all sizes.

Honey and eggs: Honey and eggs are for sale during season.

Animals: If you bring animals they are only allowed in the kitchen (of allergy reasons). The farm cats are quite social and might come for at visit and you can also say hello to chickens of different sizes during season.

Car charging: There is a type 2 charger on the farm 100 m away from the cottage. If you need to charge your car we can make arrangement for that. You will get 100 % sun electricity!

Paying stipulation: You pay the whole amount to us six weeks before arrival. If you change your mind, we pay you back two thirds of the amount if you let us know at least four weeks in advance.

Changing day: Sunday. Arrival at 2 pm and departure at 12.
